We all know how hard it is to plan an awesome holiday but also keep it budget friendly. Whilst travelling, we have found many different ways to help us plan these kind of trips and not feel like we’re missing out on anything.

Whilst we are saving to go travelling full time, keeping our trips budgeted is more important than ever. We will share with you all the tips and tricks that we learn along the way!

Depending on where you are travelling from, the cheapest areas to visit tends to be in Europe, as long as you avoid Scandinavian countries. It is best to make sure that you sign up to alerts for different airlines and then that way you know when they have a sale on. Flexibility is also key when you’re on a budget so that you can have an open mind on where you’re travelling and go for the cheapest options.

We’ve travelled on a budget pretty much our whole lives. We’re not rich. Just like you, we work full-time and we really need to make our money last as long as possible to satisfy our wanderlust!

Recently, we took a budget trip to 4 different large cities in Europe. We visited Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon and Paris before returning to Edinburgh which are absolutely not the cheapest countries to visit.

We used only budget airlines, minimal luggage and no we absolutely did not pay to sit next to each other. This did result in Liam sitting behind Amy on the plane at one point. As you can imagine, Liam was tapping her on the shoulder, tugging at her hair and quite frankly being the worst person to sit in front of on the plane!

This is how we know that we can help you to make the most of your money and not skimp out on your trip at all!
