Even though this is a sponsored post with Naturanda, in this guide, we share our honest thoughts and opinions after being hosted on their tours. In this review, we share the best tours that Naturanda offer in Seville & other Spanish destinations, why we personally feel that Naturanda is the best tour company to go with and share our real-life experience from the tours.

We were lucky enough to visit Seville as part of our honeymoon and go on some amazing tours with Naturanda. Whilst this is a sponsored post, this is our honest experience of what it was like to be on a Naturanda tour and what we thought of the tours too!

We got to do plenty of things whilst we were in Seville but one of the highlights for us was visiting Donana National Park with Naturanda and learning more about the wildlife outside of the city.

If you’re planning a trip to Seville then you will definitely want to make sure that you see more than just the city itself. This blog post will give you an insight into our experience on a Naturanda tour, the different tours that they offer and tips for visiting.

Naturanda covers a lot of different destinations in Spain so even if you’re planning to visit a few locations other than Seville, it is worth checking out to see what they offer. Madrid in particular is one of their largest destinations that they cover with plenty of exciting tours to join so make sure to explore the different options available to enhance your trip.

We got to go on 2 different tours with Naturanda and the main one that we will speak about in this post is our trip to Donana National Park. However, we also prepared to go on a tour from Seville to Gibraltar so read on to find out how we almost made it to Gibraltar and why we couldn’t complete the tour.

Naturanda Tours from Seville

Naturanda offer a lot of different tours from Seville including guided tours for popular attractions in the city such as the Royal Alcazar, Cathedral and Giralda as well as day tours such as Donana National Park, trips to Gibraltar, Tangier, Granada and so much more.

Below we share some highlights of the tours that Naturanda offers. Some of these we got to experience and others are options that we wish we would have had time to do whilst we were in Seville.

Naturanda Guided Tours & Activities

Hidden Gems of Seville Guided Tour – if this is your second visit to Seville or you’re looking to step off the beaten track then this tour is for you. You will be taken through the city exploring some of the lesser known areas of Seville whilst also learning more about Sevillian tradition and culture along the way.

The Royal Alcazar Palace – if you’re planning a visit to Seville then one of the main tourist attractions to visit is the Royal Alcazar and what is better than learning more about this infamous landmark on a Naturanda tour? The World Heritage Site will transport you back in time as you learn about the interesting history behind the Alcazar with your Naturanda tour guide.

Tapas Tour in Triana – we were fortunate enough to do a food tour around Seville but we know for a fact that the next time we visit we definitely want to try the tapas in Triana. Learn more about the Sevillian food culture by devouring delicious dishes from 4 different restaurants & sampling drinks along the way. We recommend doing this tour at the start of your trip so that you can order some of the delicious food yourself!

Hot Air Balloon Ride in Seville – we wish we had enough time to enjoy the sights of Seville from a hot air balloon and it is certainly on our bucket list for our next trip! Soar over the Sevillian countryside appreciating the beauty from above and sharing a special moment with your loved one!

Day Tours with Naturanda

This is our favourite part because Seville is such an incredible base to explore not just surrounding Spanish destinations but also other countries too!

Seville to Tangier – take a day trip from Seville to the beautiful Moroccan city of Tangier. You will have a local Moroccan guide that will take you to the main points of interest in Tangier and also enjoy a delicious Moroccan lunch. This is certainly on our bucket list for when we return to Seville. If you have more time then Naturanda also offers a two-day, one-night trip to Tangier so that you can experience even more!

Donana National Park – we went on the Donana National Park tour with Naturanda ourselves and it was absolutely excellent. You will head out early in the morning to the National Park with a knowledgeable local guide that will teach you more about the local wildlife and take time to spot an Iberian Lynx. You’ll also visit the village of El Rocio which feels like a journey to the Wild West!

Dolphin & Whale Watching in Tarifa – close to the Moroccan coast & Strait of Gibraltar you will go on a boat to look out for dolphins and whales! This is a great spot to visit as you will also be between 2 different continents too so it is definitely a bucket list tour to go on!

Seville to Gibraltar – we went on this tour with Naturanda and we have a great story to go with it so carry on reading to find out how we almost made it to Gibraltar. This is a great tour where you will visit the British Territory and see the infamous Gibraltar Rock up close. Not to mention that you will get to see plenty of monkeys whilst exploring Gibraltar!

Gibraltar rock that can be seen from a distance this is just one of the Naturanda Seville tours that are on offer.

Our Experience at Donana National Park

If you’re looking to escape the city and explore the wildlife close to Seville then this is an amazing tour to go on! You will be picked up early and head out to Donana National Park to try and spot an Iberian lynx. Before you visit, make sure you check out the best time to visit Seville to increase your chances of seeing these beautiful animals in the wild.

We found that when we visited Donana National Park with Naturanda that our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us so much information about the wildlife that inhabits the national park.

For us, we loved seeing the beautiful scenery of the Donana National Park and learning more about the wildlife and nature within. Our group then got to enjoy a delicious Sevillian breakfast before taking a trip to the village of El Rocio.

This village is like taking a step back in time and we got serious Wild West vibes wandering around the village. It was a beautiful place to stop and see a different side to Spain. After a well deserved beer at a cafe in the village, we got back on the road and headed back to Donana National Park.

Palacio del Acebron is a beautiful area to visit within Donana National Park.

We got to visit the Palacio del Acebron and enjoy beautiful views from the rooftop before heading back into the wildlife. Our guide took us through a route in Donana National Park and we got to learn and try different berries along the way. It was really handy to have such a knowledgeable guide who could spot animal footprints a mile away and have so much information about what was safe to eat in the National Park.

Our last stop before heading back to Seville was to visit the coast of Donana, a beautiful beach spot with incredible views and a stunning place to stop for some food.

Our tour of Donana National Park with Naturanda was an incredible experience and we walked away knowing a lot more about the wildlife and ecosystems around us. This is a tour that we would highly recommend for nature enthusiasts and travellers that want to step off the beaten track!

That Time we Almost Made it to Gibraltar

As we mentioned, we went on a couple of tours with Naturanda and we did actually have a tour from Seville to Gibraltar scheduled. We were so excited for this tour in particular as we had always wanted to go to Gibraltar but we couldn’t justify the cost of taking a trip just to Gibraltar for a vacation.

Before the tour, we received an information pack from Naturanda with important information about Gibraltar such as remembering to take your passports, the timescales of when the coach will leave and the meeting point etc.

We woke up early and made it to the meeting point where our coach picked us up to begin the journey to the Strait of Gibraltar. As we got closer, our guide began running through tips for visiting the British Territory and one thing got mentioned that made our hearts sink… “make sure you have your passports to hand”.

We looked at each other with pure panic in our eyes and started rooting through our bags to try and find our passports in the hope that they were still in the bags from when we left the airport.

The coach pulled up to the stopping point and at that moment we realised that we had messed up. Our passports were back in our cute little apartment in Seville and we had no way to enter Gibraltar. Rookie mistake!

We knew we needed our passports but we had changed bags and were in a rush before we left our apartment so didn’t think about switching the passports into the new bags.

We got off the coach and with our tails in between our legs we had to go tell the guide that we had left our passports at home. Unfortunately, we couldn’t cross the border because of this but that didn’t stop us, we took ourselves on our own tour of La Linear de la Concepcion.

After saying goodbye to the group we head off to enjoy a beer and try to decide what we were going to do in this small border town.

We made the most of it, we visited a beautiful beach and got to see the rock of Gibraltar at a distance in all its glory. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at a local restaurant and wandered down the marina admiring the boats and yachts.

We spent most of our time wandering and just appreciating the beauty of the area despite it being a typical border town. Meeting our guide at the border, we then got back on the coach and headed back to Seville feeling like we had truly been on a unique adventure.

Everyone we spoke to said that they thoroughly enjoyed their time in Gibraltar and it was a beautiful place to visit. Of course, there were also plenty of warnings about watching your items when the monkeys are close by!

The beautiful waterfront close to the border of Gibraltar.

The moral of the story is: if you’re going on the Seville to Gibraltar tour with Naturanda then make sure you remember your passports!

It is safe to say that when we next return to Seville that we will be attempting this trip again and we can guarantee that we won’t make that rookie error again!

Now to Book Your Naturanda Tour

There are so many different tours available through Naturanda from Seville that in honesty, we found it difficult to narrow down what tours we wanted to do when we were visiting.

We personally chose the Seville to Gibraltar day tour and the Donana National Park day tour but we know that next time we visit we are going to take part in the Seville to Tangier day trip and the Tapas Tasting in Triana tour to enhance our time in Seville.

No matter what tours you decide on, we found that all the guides with Naturanda were very helpful, welcoming and knowledgeable that it set these tours a bar ahead of other tours that we have been on whilst we were travelling!
